PA510 is a renewable and environmentally friendly bio-based nylon, polymerized from sebacic acid and decamethylenediamine derived from castor oil, with a bio-based content exceeding 60%. It is a high-performance nylon independently developed and pioneered in China.
Features: Exceptional toughness, high strength, excellent low-temperature resistance, superior wear resistance, low water absorption, minimal molding shrinkage, and good processability. Applications: Primarily used in automotive brake tubes, fuel lines, wiring conduits, and liquid cooling hoses for new energy vehicles, as well as other applications requiring low-temperature performance and high toughness. Bio-based nylon PA510 can also be reinforced with 30% to 60% glass fiber for enhanced properties.
It exhibits high strength and modulus, wear resistance, heat resistance, low water absorption, excellent processability, and dimensional stability. It is suitable for product components that require low water absorption, good dimensional stability, high elastic modulus, and wear resistance. Examples include waterway connectors, oil pipe joints, smartwatch back covers, and smartwatch housings.
