PPSU
PPSU is a type of non-crystalline plastic, collectively referred to as polysulfone material. It features a high glass transition temperature and low moisture absorption. Additionally, compared to PSU (Polysulfone) and PES (Polyethersulfone), PPSU offers superior impact strength and chemical resistance.
Performance Characteristics:
PPSU exhibits high rigidity and strength, excellent hydrolysis resistance, and performs well across a wide temperature range, from high to low temperatures. It is highly resistant to weathering, UV exposure, and mechanical wear, and can be processed through extrusion, injection molding, and blow molding. PPSU offers outstanding chemical resistance, is food-grade compliant, and can be colored for various applications. It demonstrates strong mechanical load-bearing capacity, aging resistance, and semi-tough properties with self-extinguishing characteristics. Certain grades of PPSU are transparent, and it provides excellent impact strength, dimensional stability, and creep resistance, making it suitable for demanding environments and long-term use.
