Core Definition
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a high-strength, tough and easily processable thermoplastic engineering plastic. Copolymerized from three monomers, it integrates the advantages of all components.
Core Properties
- Mechanical: Excellent impact resistance, creep resistance and rigidity, with good low-temperature impact performance.
- Processing: Easy for injection molding, extrusion and vacuum forming; surface can be readily electroplated, sprayed and printed.
- Chemical: Resistant to water, inorganic salts and alkalis, but not to strong solvents (acetone, aromatic hydrocarbons, etc.).
- Others: Non-toxic (food-grade requires certification), good dimensional stability, and moderate cost.

Home appliance casings (TVs, refrigerators, washing machines), automotive interior/exterior parts, electronic and electrical enclosures, toys (Lego bricks), pipes, sheets, office supplies, etc.
